How Turbnix Handles 100K Connections

The key is not creating one thread or process per connection. Event-driven I/O, compact connection state, buffer reuse, efficient timers and controlled admission allow many mostly-idle connections to share a small number of workers.

Ideas first. Evidence next.

Turbnix engineering claims should ultimately be validated with reproducible tests. Design goals, early observations and measured production results are kept distinct so the project can improve from evidence rather than assumptions.
